So tomorrow's the day. Baby Isabelle's coming--and I'm really excited, but a little nervous, too. I really like looking at her room. Hopefully Mommy will finish cleaning it before the baby's here.
I'm spending the night with Grandma and Papa since Mommy and Daddy have to be at the hospital pretty early. We're going to make gingerbread men--Mommy bought me a package of them, and I slept with them last night. I can't wait to put the candy buttons on them.
This morning I told Mommy and Daddy that I'd help feed Isabelle--and rock her, too. They seemed happy to hear it.

Astronauts and Space Shuttles
Astronauts are cool. Space shuttles have balloons and land in the water. I went to the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum with Mommy and saw a real rocket.

I think I'll be an astronaut for Halloween. I saw an astronaut helmet at the museum store when we were leaving the museum--I showed it to Mommy, and she bought it for me.
I can push a button on my helmet, and the visor moves up. If I push a different button a voice in the helmet counts down from 10 and says "lift off." I like to wear my helmet. My great-grandpa wore my helmet, too!

I have a football helmet, too. And sometimes I put a laundry basket on my head and pretend that it's an astronaut helmet.
Orange Juice
I really like orange juice, and I drink it a lot. Sometimes Mommy tells me we're out of orange juice, and I tell her we need to go shopping.
Although orange juice is my favorite, I like to have options. I've started asking Mommy for orange juice, milk (preferably chocolate), and water all at once. It's hard to hold all of the sippy cups, but I like the variety.
Tonight I drank orange juice, then I decided to switch to milk. I asked Mommy for milk, and she told me I still had orange juice in my cup. I told Mommy to pour it in the sink. Mommy gave me a funny look--I guess she didn't know that I know about sinks.

Bouncing Baby Ball
So I lost my rubber bouncing ball (it's little, so I call it my baby ball) a few months ago. I was looking under the buffet in the kitchen (just because), and I saw it! Yay! I managed to get it out and bounce it a few times before Mommy took it away because it she said it was too small.
I forgot about my ball for a while, but I remembered just before bedtime. I asked Mommy for it, and she said it went to sleep. She said I could play with it tomorrow.
I woke up this morning (tomorrow), and told Mommy to wake up. I told her to "look at the light outside, time to wake up Mommy." Mommy got up, and the first thing I did was ask her for my baby ball. I told her I wanted to bounce it.
Poor Mommy--she looked for my ball for 30 minutes. I still don't know where it is.

Skateboarding
My neighbor, Corbin, likes to skateboard. I've been watching him skateboard since I was a baby, and I even sat on his skateboard once.
Last week I took my Evel Knievel action figure off of his motorcycle and stood him on the ramp. I told Mommy that he was skateboarding. Then I stood on the ramp and told Mommy I was skateboarding.
Skateboarding's cool.

My Take on Religion
I like to go to church with Mommy. Sometimes Grandma is a lector and I have to try hard not to shout "Hi Grandma" when she's reading.
It's hard to sit still during mass. I usually go to the cry room so I can walk around a little. Oh, and I like to tell Mommy I have to go potty--sometimes I really do have to go, but mostly I like to look in all the stalls and practice flushing the toilets.
I really like eating snacks after mass--I help Papa get his coffee, and we wait for mommy to come back from the snack line. She usually has fruit and lemonade. I like lemonade.
Father Keith is our priest, and I like him a lot. I usually call him Father Keef, though. I like to shake Father's Keith's hand when he visits with us after mass.
I know how to cross myself with Holy water, and I like dipping my whole hand in the water (Mommy tries not to let me put my whole hand in, but I'm very quick). When I first learned how to cross myself, I said "Fader, son, and holey spit." Now I can say all of the words.
I like to pray before I eat and when I go to bed. My favorite prayer is "God is good, God is great, thank you for our food." Mommy giggles a bit when I say this at night, but that's okay. It's a good prayer.

A Little Bit About Me
So I'm a little over two and a half, and I really like airplanes, fire engines, trains, the circus (view a picture of me with my clown nose below), and astronauts. Football's great, too, and I like to show everyone my hook 'em horns at random times throughout the day.
I'm into music and like to rock out to hits from the 80s. Funkytown is my current favorite song. Since I'm all about music, I do enjoy a bit of musical television--The Biscuit Brothers Show (http://www.biscuitbrothers.com/) is a favorite, and I've been to several live shows (I posted a picture of me with the Biscuit Brothers at the bottom of this blog).
I like to play with my friends Landon, Kristian, and Frankie.
I live with my mommy and daddy in Austin, TX. I have a lot of family in Austin, and I enjoy visiting with my Grandma and Papa, my Grandpa and Lilia, and Aunt Sasha.
I travel to Corpus Christi to visit my other Grandma and Grandpa, and I like to see Uncle Joe and Uncle Johnny when I'm there. I visit my great-grandpa in Corpus, too. I sometimes get to see Tio Mando's family.
